Interested applicants can now apply to open positions, instead of applying to become a civilian, and then apply to become a firefighter or deputy sheriff. Applicants can apply to any available position that is open in the community, without going through one application to get to the other.

New Agency Founded, San Andreas Highway Patrol

Blaine County DPS is pleased to announce our new law enforcement agency, San Andreas Highway Patrol. Since 2014, members have always brought up ideas about adding a highway patrol agency into the community. Today, we have announced that move to add the San Andreas Highway Patrol.

Members that are interested in becoming a State Trooper can apply by filling out the State Trooper position application on the website. The Highway Patrol will be lead by the current Blaine County Sheriff's Office administration.
